Who says that waiting is boring? Not really.
Our car was being serviced for 1 hour. The service station provides variety of electric foot massagers in the waiting room.
Ah, those machines made me feel like in heaven. I was so satisfied. A hour flew by so fast.
Plus, our car became so clean and glossy that I could see my reflection on it.

This belt holds my long t-shirt very well and brings a special accent to my tops.
No need to ask, this one becomes my favorite lately. I can’t resist its candy color combinations. Although my friend teased me that it looked like bathroom mosaic =).
I wake up at 8.00 am everyday. This morning I woke up at 5.30 am. That wasn’t my habit.
Yeah, I had a nightmare. I was afraid the nightmare might be continued, so I decided to stay awake.
Usually, I didn’t want to open my eyes because my dream was so gooood.
I was sure it happened because accidentally I glanced to the TV while hubby was watching horror movie last night. (You owe me big for this, hubby).
Then here I was, sitting near the window and amazed that some people who live at the apartment in front of our building had awakened too. The light sprouted from their window.
Gazing at them, I wanted to greet them, “Top of the morning to you, neighbors!!”
Guess who was sick of mall / shopping center? ME!
Most of Jakarta’s people spend the weekend at the mall.
Everyday, I go to shopping center where my shop is located. That’s why I was bored of mall.
Last weekend, me and hubby spent precious time outdoor. We took a brisk walk while breathing fresh air. We could feel that wind blowing through our hair.
Surprisingly, our little walk made me miss mall terribly. He eh.
Finally, I met my college friends. Two of them came far away from their hometown to Jakarta. It’s been a long time since the last time we gathered together.
We talked about our current lifes, our jobs and mostly about our men (what else?).
We devoured those Japanese raw meals. I thought it was refreshing to hear news from them.
They say that diamond is a girl’s best friend. For me, best friends are diamond itself.
What a surprise!! The street in the picture is always crowded with people like it’s always …and there is always a traffic jam.
It was 3 pm on weekday and I managed to take the picture of the street, empty.
I was in the car (that’s why the picture is a little bit blue), waiting the traffic light turned green when I saw the empty moment.
Right after I took a shot, a lot of cars ran along the street.
There was a time when my staffs only sold Cheerful’s items half the usual amount.
They said that the shopping center itself was low-traffic.
I was so curious, so I went to the green bean juice counter near my shop.
Green bean juice is best seller beverage at the shopping center.
Well, my staffs were right. The juice jars were still half full.
Usually, the counter alwaaayss ran out of juice if I wanted to consume that natural beverage.
My new strong desire is to open another Cheerful shop.
It feels like I succeed planting a flag on top of Mt. Everest. I will be satisfied more than I imagine.
Sitting at the coffee shop, reading book has become my ritual since my staffs have handled everything about my shop. I am no longer needed, I assume.
Yesterday, when barista delivered my order, she looked into Ugly Betty’s DVD I just bought.
Then, she said that she loved those series too. We agreed that Ugly Betty’s plot was hillarios yet they also managed to make it serious.
We have something in common. I almost forgot I was at the coffee shop. We chatted as if I was on my bed, wearing my old comfy pyjama.
My sister made me a cross stitch mug. It can be opened and pushed closed easily. So I can replace with other cross stitch patterns if I get bored.
She is the only one in the family who likes to craft. On the other hand, I am not sure I can accomplish complicated craft like that.

I don’t mind accompanying hubby to the book shop. He has big budget for buying books.
Like yesterday. When he was ready to pay at the cashier, I added an old book of my desire: Indonesian edition of “Jeff Bezos: Business Executive And Founder Of Amazon.com” by Bernard Ryan, Jr; into his pile of books.
Amazing journey! It got me thinking about this: should I create Cheerful’s online store?
A rainy evening in Jakarta. It is a bit cold.
My tummy was stuffed with the glorious dinner. Then, me and hubby chatted in a homey light place.
Our conversation made my heart warm inside.
Being a Blogger ever asked me about those Adsense ads which I put on my blog.
I want to share my adsense journey with you. I don’t make a living with Adsense. It is “nothing to lose” thing.
So far, I have received 6 checks from Adsense. Not a big amount of money, but more than enough to pay web hosting and domain itself.

I want a change for my hair, it’s getting kind of boring.
I need something different for my hair instead of doing the same thing over and over again.
I consider to get my hair cut realy short like Victoria Beckham’s but I still don’t have a guts to do that.
Long hair is easy to manage. When I have bad hair day, I just get my hair into a bun.
**Sigh, while checking out the latest hair style magazines.
Super light. Super comfortable to walk in for miles (or meters, that is).
Walking around and being on my feet all day around the mall is not a problem anymore.
Overall, I am very pleased with the shoe and its comfort.
While waiting Indiana Jones 4, I currently rewatch Indiana Jones trilogy.
When I was a child I used to watch those movies with my sister over and over again. We gasped for breath as we saw Harrison Ford’s almost dead experience.
I guess Harrison Ford was our first love. He eh.
A friend of mine ask me, what love is and how do you know if you’ve found the right person.
I am not love expert. I ever asked the same question to myself too long time ago.
I just know when I am in love, everything just feels right and wonderful.
We don’t have a plan to take a vacation because I enjoy my work and hubby currently prepares something important.
I encourage and support him to start his new business as soon as possible.
This is a big decision because he will resign from his job soon.
We still date regularly. When we eat out, we like to sit near a large window looking over the city view.
Well, I love wearing glasses now.
Contact lenses make my eyes dry, maybe because I used to wear contact lenses and I had them on 24/7 (even slept with them on).
My face skin treatment really works.
It gives my face a healthy glow (or is it just me?). I even don’t wear make up anymore when I go out (but sunblock is a must).
My heart thumped happily when accidentally I saw someone carried Cheerful’s shopping bag.
The five of us met in University, we learned interior design.
We were really interested in design projects. We liked to stay up late at night together, doing our tasks.
So what happens now?
The first & second girl from the left: moved back to their hometown, running their family business, which is not related to interior design at all.
The middle girl: a housewive and just gave birth to her first daughter.
Me myself: well, you know, running my own shop. I totally forget how to arrange design concept.
The last girl: He he, she currently learns fashion design. I don’t even know how did she get the idea?
Anyway, this post is dedicated to five of us.
We will reunite on April 21, 2008. We will have a trip to middle girls’s hometown. I hope that this plan will be finally realized.
I am a movie freak, I love comedy romantic films and already you can tell I am a DVD collector!
Nothing could be more fun! While hunting DVDs, I give myself a task.
Three days ago, I promised myself to buy Jane Austen DVDs.
After sorting through HUGE DVD piles one by one (at 10 different DVD counters), I bought Jane Austen’s Mansfield Park, Pride and Prejudice, and Northanger Abbey. Ha ha.. how satisfied I was.
I am still looking for Emma, Sense and Sensibility, and Persuasion. I don’t want to buy those DVDs online, because that will kill the art of shopping.
We had annoying neighbor, right in front of our apartment room.
I never mentioned this before, because I didn’t want to focus on them.
They are a bunch of college students who liked to party all night with loud music.
Sometimes they invited thousand friends and spent the whole day playing drums. Yes, they had band equipment at their apartment.
The problem was, they made loud noise like metal scraping.
Then when they got drunk, they had a fight with each other in front of our apartment, and their body bumped into our door.
But today, I just found out that their apartment was EMPTY, the real estate agent told me that they had moved.
YESSS. Imagine how happy we are.
Just call us old fashioned, but we prefer calm and peace atmosphere surrounding us.
A month ago I decided to pay more attention to my face. I wanted to get rid of all pimples and sebums.
I visited a dermatologist and did a facial procedure.
The dermatologist gave me daily skin treatments. Those creams really work.
But well~ the night cream tastes really bitter. That’s what hubby told to me after kissing me.
Sometimes I can taste how bitter it is too when I lick my lips.
I am definitely going to ask for sweet tasting cream to my dermatologist, next visit .
You were waking me up before you went to the office, like you usually do.
Without my contact lenses, your face was out of focus. But I know you were smiling.
Don’t get bored to do this ritual.

We attended family gathering which is called arisan.
We hadn’t won the money draw yet, but we enjoyed delicious Chinese cuisine in our family atmosphere.
Another reason I like this gathering is hot family gossips were served too. =)
I just bought this same hair band for the third time.
First, I left it accidentally in the mall toilet.
Second, only God knows where I lost it.
Luckily, it is quite cheap.
I’ve been blogging for a year now. Pretty amazing. At least I am able to commit.

Well, it’s been a month and she hasn’t come back yet.
I couldn’t stand it anymore. I tore its plastic wrap and read it.
But I am not as evil as I thought. I promise, if she come back to get her book back, I will go to the nearest bookstore and buy her a new one.
Almost 3 months since I opened Cheerful ~ my little shop.
I feel supremely priviledged to be able to do something that I love to do. For me, it’s really the most rewarding and challenging experience in my life.
Running Cheerful is like watching a tree grows.
The hardest part was trying to guide my staffs. However I choose to keep learning how to become a leader, NOT JUST A BOSS.
Then, I plan to open more branches.
